Easter Weekend

We had a fabulous weekend! C was in her glory, she literally loved each and every minute of this weekend. I loved how much she enjoyed it and it was so cool watching her get so into it this year. She is still talking about the egg hunt and reenacting it for us which is quite possibly the cutest thing ever.
Dress Similar here | Bag from two years ago but its pottery barn kids

On Saturday our neighborhood had an adorable egg hunt, we went last year but this year was way better mainly because C was so much more into it. She immediately got the concept and went straight for as many eggs as she could have. She filled up her whole bag, Steve and I were every impressed with her egg seeking skills. After we wrapped the egg hunt there was a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce house, games, a balloon artist, face painter and a photo booth. We didn't do everything but we did what we could and she loved it!

Sunday morning started off with out own little family egg hun thanks to the "Easter Bunny". C made out like a bandit, she was so impressed by her basket and her pink puppy her immediate reaction was "I can't believe it" we spend the rest of the morning playing with her new toys and hanging out. Sunday was beautiful outside we had brunch with a bunch of friends, it was so fun and yummy. C was a real trooper since it took 3 hours to eat and it was way past her nap time. All and all it was a lovely day just a little long for a 2 year old.

Bumpdate Week 21

How far along: I plan to do these as a recap of the pervious week so this is my 21 week update, currently I'm 22 weeks!
Gender: GIRL
Baby Size: Pomegranate
Maternity clothes: Yes! All day everyday, but I did manage to squeeze in this adorable dress for Easter. I may got it in white for maternity photos, I feel like it would look beautiful when photographed. Plus white dress on the beach, yes please before I am covered in spit up.
Sleep: Can I get some more please, how does one put in a request additional sleep?  I can fall asleep anywhere and everywhere, which for those who know me well never happens. I want to take a nap all the time, which is so hard with a 2 year old running around. It usually hits me by 2 pm so afternoons here have turned into movie time.
What I am looking forward too: Easter! I am so excited for C to see her easter basket and see the look on her face easter morning.
What I miss: SUSHI! Can I just have a plate of yellowtail and some chopsticks please!! Until then I will dream of having it for dinner the day I give birth because yup thats happening.
Movement: Yes all the time, she is pretty calm at night and more active during the day. I would be the happiest mama in the whole wide world if she's like then when she emerges.
Cravings: Yes, SUSHI! hahaha
Queasy or sick: Not to bad this week, moments here and there but nothing big.
Best Moment of the week: Taking C to see the Easter bunny and having her ask for a "pink puppy". Funny story she has mentioned this puppy surprise thing she's seen on Disney Jr. a few times but nothing big, we were in target alone on Tuesday (WHAT! haha) Any who on a whim Steve and I bought a pink puppy surprise for her Easter basket, funny enough she's been begging me for one since then and has NO clue we bought one!
XOXO

Bumpdate Week 20! Halfway!

AHHH How are we already halfway though this pregnancy!

How far along: I plan to do these as a recap of the pervious week so this is my 20 week update, currently I'm 21 weeks!
Gender: GIRL
Baby Size:  Banana
Maternity clothes:  OH yeah! I got some new yoga pants too. I ended up getting the ones I had already from C, these are actually the right size and not baggy haha
Sleep: Not too bad, although I will admit I can take a nap whenever. I am exhausted come 2pm so its hard chasing C when all I want to do is nap. Ah wouldn't that be nice.
What I am looking forward too:  Having C and Steve feel the baby. I felt her a few times this week with my hand over the belly so as soon as she cooperates I hope they will feel her soon. Maybe I can get C reaction on video!
What I miss: C being little, with each and everyday that passes, I watch her get older and older. I remember all these things and how I felt with her in my belly and I can't believe we are doing this again. It just goes to show you how fast it all goes.
Movement: Yes a lot more. My placenta is still in front so it's very faint but I feel her moving and rolling round, occasionally there are some more jabs.
Cravings: FOOD! hahaha I have been so hungry lately. I'll eat anything and everything these days.
Queasy or sick: Honestly a little bit this week, but I think I got Cs cold so I'm pretty sure that had a lot to do with it.
Best Moment of the week: Feeling baby girl with my hands, and getting to see her on the ultrasound. She was stubborn and wouldn't move so we may have a mini C on our hands.

XOXO

Our Magical Vacation

Disney World was a truly magical trip! We had the BEST time. We flew into florida for Steve for work then decided to extended our tip to take peanut to Disney after he wrapped up. The only thing I would have changed was the amount of time in florida holy cow we were gone a while.  But seeing her face light up when she saw Cinderella's castle and met talking Mickey well that was one for the books. If you haven't figured out by now we are a Disney family haha, we are at Disneyland quite often since it is about 15 mins form our house and we have annual passes. Growing up on the east coast we went to Disney World, so I have literally been looking forward to taking our kids to the world since Steve and I got married.
First Castle picture as a family of 3! Soon to be 4 how crazy is that. Incase you can't see my shirt says "Future mouseketeer in the making" hehe Steves says "Beast Mode" and Cs dress was made by my very talented sister in-law Jen. Heres her shop info!
Dress also made my Jen! She's doing her princess dress pose here.
This little girl LOVES minnie mouse!

Since I am pretty much crazy, which is ok. We wore matching family and coordinating outfits for our whole trip! Haha. We were also super lucky that our family was able to join us. My mom flew down from NY while Steve and I attended work stuff then was able to stay for one magical day at Disney followed by a delicious dinner at Cinderella's castle. We were also joined by my in-laws and sister and brother in-laws family for the majority of our Disney trip. Watching the kiddos hang out together and meet characters together was a huge treat. My nieces and nephews love Disney just as much as C and my sister in-law and I love Disney pretty much a much as they do.
Seeing Anna her favorite, she loves frozen and is a huge Anna fan so sweet.
C was not in the mood for a picture but she sure enjoyed dinner and meeting all the princesses.
Riding Dumbo with my mom and niece, she is still asking me to "go on a plane, see nanny and do dumbo" so cute!

We stayed at the Yacht Club resort on Epcot property, it was beautiful and so close to Epcot we got to see the fireworks at night from our balcony. The pool there was the BEST part it was voted the number one pool on Walt Disney World property because of its sand bottom floor and C LOVED it. So did we, I also didn't mind the non alcoholic pina colada either. We were able to walk to both Hollywood studios as well as Epcot which was amazing. It was also a short distance from the boardwalk so we ate breakfast over there one morning on our walk to Epcot. I would totally stay over there again, mainly for the huge convince of the area.
Lunch at the Crystal Palace, huge pooh bear fan!
Dancing with the beast in her belle dress Jen made. This moment melted my heart so precious.
Family photo with talking Mickey seriously so cool!

We truly had the BEST time ever and to be honest we can't wait to go back. I love love love Disney and I can't begin to tell you how happy it makes me to have a daughter who loves it as much as I do. C is still talking about talking Mickey which is literally the coolest thing ever! She loves telling us about her whole trip and all the characters she saw, it's so cool that she got that much out of it.
Until next time Disney World, for now we will frequent the land lol
XOXO

Bumpdate Week 19

How far along: I plan to do these as a recap of the pervious week so this is my 19 week update, currently I'm 20weeks!
Gender: GIRL
Baby Size: Tomato
Maternity clothes: Heck yes! I am now on the hunt for new yoga pants, still wearing the ones I wore to death C lol. I think they have seen better days.
Sleep: Not so bad, just waking up to pee mainly. I need to stop drinking water by like 7pm or something haha.
What I am looking forward too: Having Steve and C feel baby girl move. I really can't wait to see how C reacts to feeling her sister squirm around in my belly.
What I miss: Nothing too much this week. I really feel like I am enjoying being pregnant which is nice, hey at least I get a month or two like this until I am so over it haha.
Movement: Yes, a ton of rolls and jabs here and there. More constant durning the day which is the opposite of C who moved a ton at night. Could this mean I have a sleeper, doubtful but wishful thinking thats for sure.
Cravings: Nothing really this week, so not too interesting.
Queasy or sick: NO! Woo hoo. I still have very occasional moments of super nausea or feelings like I'm about to puke but thankfully they are very few and far between.
Best Moment of the week: Having my childhood friend and her husband here to visit. We had so much fun! It was so nice having them here we went to Disney and Malibu and I feel like I got to adult for a few days which was pretty awesome.

XOXO

Bumpdate Week 17 & 18

Since we were away while I was 17 weeks, I didn't get to write an update. I had every intention of trying to blog while in Disney but lets be real I was too tired to try. So I am currently 19 weeks but here is my 17 and 18 week Bumpdates!

How far along: I plan to do these as a recap of the pervious week so this is my 17 week update, currently I'm 18 weeks!
Gender: GIRL
Baby Size: Turnip, I don't think I've ever purchased a turnip haha
Maternity clothes: Oh heck yes! Looking for suggestions on some cute tops. So if anyone has any let me know. I feel like cute maternity tops are so hard to find. I need something comfortable and cute, open to suggestions.
Sleep: Pretty good actually, how does one knock on wood on here haha. The pregnancy pillow I mentioned in the previous bump date post is FANTASTIC. It was exactly what I needed. I will admit however that I can pretty much take a nap wherever, whenever.
What I am looking forward too: Feeling her move and shake more, and having big sister feel her move around too. Also, our Disney World trip!
What I miss: Still certain foods and WINE. What I wouldn't give for a huge glass of pino right now.
Movement: Yes, little by little the feelings are getting stronger and stronger.
Cravings: Nothing specific, besides all foods I am not allowed to have haha
Queasy or sick: Nope! I am FINALLY not pukeing its glorious.
Best Moment of the week: Heading to DISNEY WORLD! We can't wait to show the peanut Disney world, she's going to love it!

How far along: I plan to do these as a recap of the pervious week so this is my 18 week update, currently I'm 19 weeks!
Gender: GIRL
Baby Size: Bell Pepper!
Maternity clothes: Nothing new but still on the hunt for some tops. I'm trying not to over buy this pregnancy. With C I bought so much stuff just because it was inexpensive, but this time around I want pieces that will last. So I am being pretty picking on what I get.
Sleep: Still pretty good, I mean I did spend the whole week walking around Disney World so that helped a bit I'm sure but for the most part sleep has been great!
What I am looking forward too: More movement and having C and Steve feel it. I can't wait to se how C reacts when she feels my belly move.
What I miss: Being able to do more, I feel so bad for C but mommy can't walk around holding her in my arms or in the ergo these days. Desn't feel good on my belly and puts a lot of pressure on her sister. She's only 2 so she doesn't really get it, trying to explain that to her has been hard.
Movement: Yup, more consistently now. Which is the best! Without going into detail we had a little scare while we were in Disney. Baby girl is fine and so is mama, but we found out my placenta is in front which could be why I don't feel her move as much as she is. I'm glad I got to see her though knowing she's ok made the trip a lot less stressful.
Cravings: All foods MICKEY! Haha which I got in full force this week so that was awesome.
Queasy or sick: Nope!
Best Moment of the week: Watching C at Disney World! Best week EVER! She met tons of princess and all her character friends it was heavenly. I will be doing a 2 part post on our trip soon so stay tuned!

XOXO
