3 Ingredient Toddler Trail Mix

Surely I am not the only one stuck sometimes on snack, right? C always wants the same things, bunnies, applesauce, yogurt, fruit etc. But I wanted to mix up her snack time here and there. So I decided the other day why not give her a good toddler trail mix. We used to do this all the time but haven't in a while since we went though picky eating phase. Surprise Surprise. So on a trip to Target this weekend we picked up a few things she loves and gave it a mix. We wanted a mix of sweet and salty while still being toddler friendly. She was pretty excited to get a new snack and so was mommy. I gave it to her during an episode of Daniel Tiger and she loved it! So needless to say this super easy snack will be making its way into our snack rounds.

Feel free to send me any of your trail mix recipes or comment below with it, I'd love some new ideas.
Happy Mixing!
XOXO

Fall Themed Cocktail | Caramel Apple Sparkler

I love fall themed everything, it's just so yummy and sets the mood for the prefect fall day. Here is a recipe for one of may favorite drinks. It's inspired by a similar drink at one of my favorite restaurants in Laguna Beach. I have been making this yummy concoction for 3 years and it's my go drink for the fall season. You'll LOVE it, Enjoy!

Caramel Apple Sparkler

Here it is!
Recipe
1 oz butternot schnapps
3 oz sparkling white wine
4 oz apple cider
Start by putting some cinnamon sugar on the rim of the glass then add all ingredients and mix!
XOXO

Simple 4th of July Dessert

Happy July 3rd everyone!

We are super exited for all the festivities tomorrow. We are heading over to a friends house after nap having an early dinner and keeping our fingers crossed we make it to fireworks!
I wanted to bring over something special, so with the help of this pintrest inspiration, I got to work.

I used boxed ingredients for the cake mix and thanks to pintrest again adjusted a few things to make the cupcakes taste more homemade. I used butter instead of oil and doubled it, milk instead of water and added one more egg then what the box called for. Normally I would whip up some frosting myself but decided on a mom friendly version this time.
Then arranged all the cupcakes in the shape of old glory and added fruit. Voila! A simple and delicious dessert that will leave your guest or hosts plenty impressed.
I will admit for product tasting purposes we did nibble on one or three today, and boy oh boy were they yummy!
Have a happy and safe 4th everyone!
XOXO
