Scenes from our weekend!

This weekend was a ton of fun and it felt so productive too. On Friday we took the girls pumpkin picking which was a blast the weather was really on our side which was so nice to pumpkin pick with an actual fall breeze. C had a blast and O pretty much slept the whole time haha. Then Saturday we worked on Cs big girl room I can't wait to show you the final product in a few weeks! Side note she's loving sleeping in a big girl bed and has been doing so well with it it's awesome. Sunday we took C to a trampoline park for the first time and she had a BLAST, she wasn't the only one who loved it. Steve and I thought it was super fun too and can't wait to go back! Here are a few snapshots.

She was acting like a ghost! lol
Taking a trunk picture with your pumpkins is a Hollins family tradition, O apparently didn't get the memo.

I'm in LOVE with her dresser of course the tape will not be there I just taped it up to see how the overlays will look.

Jumping her little heart out, way too cute

XOXO

Apple Picking

If you follow me on Instagram you would know that we went apple picking last week. C has been watching the video we took of her pear picking from last year at least once a week. I am so thrilled she loves this yearly tradition of ours. Growing up on the east coast we went went apple picking as kids and when we moved out to California in 2012 I made a point to find a place where we could go here. Luckily we found an adorable place tucked into the hills in Oak Glen. If you haven't been to Riley Farm and you live in Orange County I highly encourage you to drive up and go! And while you are there you need to grab some of their delicious cider! We LOVE heading out to Riley's, we usually go in late September or early October. They have apples, pears, pumpkins and even u-pick wild flowers. Depending on availability you can pick all these things until your hearts content. Be sure to stop by the general store and grab some honey and apple butter too. No this is not a sponsored post, I just really love coming here it feels like home and the weather is always slightly cooler too. Happy Picking!

Our Magical Vacation

Disney World was a truly magical trip! We had the BEST time. We flew into florida for Steve for work then decided to extended our tip to take peanut to Disney after he wrapped up. The only thing I would have changed was the amount of time in florida holy cow we were gone a while.  But seeing her face light up when she saw Cinderella's castle and met talking Mickey well that was one for the books. If you haven't figured out by now we are a Disney family haha, we are at Disneyland quite often since it is about 15 mins form our house and we have annual passes. Growing up on the east coast we went to Disney World, so I have literally been looking forward to taking our kids to the world since Steve and I got married.
First Castle picture as a family of 3! Soon to be 4 how crazy is that. Incase you can't see my shirt says "Future mouseketeer in the making" hehe Steves says "Beast Mode" and Cs dress was made by my very talented sister in-law Jen. Heres her shop info!
Dress also made my Jen! She's doing her princess dress pose here.
This little girl LOVES minnie mouse!

Since I am pretty much crazy, which is ok. We wore matching family and coordinating outfits for our whole trip! Haha. We were also super lucky that our family was able to join us. My mom flew down from NY while Steve and I attended work stuff then was able to stay for one magical day at Disney followed by a delicious dinner at Cinderella's castle. We were also joined by my in-laws and sister and brother in-laws family for the majority of our Disney trip. Watching the kiddos hang out together and meet characters together was a huge treat. My nieces and nephews love Disney just as much as C and my sister in-law and I love Disney pretty much a much as they do.
Seeing Anna her favorite, she loves frozen and is a huge Anna fan so sweet.
C was not in the mood for a picture but she sure enjoyed dinner and meeting all the princesses.
Riding Dumbo with my mom and niece, she is still asking me to "go on a plane, see nanny and do dumbo" so cute!

We stayed at the Yacht Club resort on Epcot property, it was beautiful and so close to Epcot we got to see the fireworks at night from our balcony. The pool there was the BEST part it was voted the number one pool on Walt Disney World property because of its sand bottom floor and C LOVED it. So did we, I also didn't mind the non alcoholic pina colada either. We were able to walk to both Hollywood studios as well as Epcot which was amazing. It was also a short distance from the boardwalk so we ate breakfast over there one morning on our walk to Epcot. I would totally stay over there again, mainly for the huge convince of the area.
Lunch at the Crystal Palace, huge pooh bear fan!
Dancing with the beast in her belle dress Jen made. This moment melted my heart so precious.
Family photo with talking Mickey seriously so cool!

We truly had the BEST time ever and to be honest we can't wait to go back. I love love love Disney and I can't begin to tell you how happy it makes me to have a daughter who loves it as much as I do. C is still talking about talking Mickey which is literally the coolest thing ever! She loves telling us about her whole trip and all the characters she saw, it's so cool that she got that much out of it.
Until next time Disney World, for now we will frequent the land lol

Orange Picking

Happy Monday Everyone! So as I mentioned in my last post we thought it would be fun to take C orange picking this weekend, and oh boy were we right. I got all the info from OC Mom Blog which you can find here. It was a blast, we have taken her apple, pear and pumpkin picking since she was a baby and she LOVES it. So when I read about orange picking we were all in. We went to the Irvine Ranch Outdoor Education Center. It's located pretty much in the Irvine Regional Park, which isn't too far from us. The groves were so beautiful and the weather was perfect. To my surprise we were able to do lemons too! Plus they had meyer lemons my favorite! C walked around like she owned the place and loved every second. If you're local I highly encourage you to check this place out.

Here are some of the details. They plan to do this though out the month of march, so we want to head back for sure. It was so much fun not to mention the fruit was so delicious and fresh, you can't beat off-the-tree oranges and lemons here in Orange County! They are currently doing it every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. They plan to do it into March, but may continue into April crop permitting. The cost for the a bag was $15 and $4 it you wanted any specialty citrus, like mandarins. Which I highly recommend they are delicious. The large $15 bag you can fill with both oranges and lemons as much will fit!

Happy Picking!
