Nursery Wish List with Baby Cubby

As a mom of now two little kiddos I thought it might be fun to share some things that get me though the day just a little easier. Some things I own personally and others, I wish I had! So I teamed up with baby cubby to make a nursery wish list for you. Here are a few must have items for the new mama!

4Moms tub, We received this tub for baby O and I love it! We also have the 4Moms spout cover which we use for C. I love knowing the temperature for baby and making sure its just right. Having a baby tub that has one built in is a no brainer!

4Moms breeze, When we received this pack-n-play for C the minute I opened it up I immediately understood why its called the breeze. I have attempted to use other brands before and let me tell you I am not kidding when I say attempted, I wasn't able to open the thing. That's what I LOVE about this is so easy to open and set up, it's truly a breeze.

Baby Jogger City Mini GT Double, After testing many many doubles for Disney purposes of course this is the side by side double we chose to go with. I wanted something that was more rugged then our everyday Orbit Baby Double. We plan on using this when O is bigger and can sit up in it, I see many Disneyland trips with this in our future.

Owlet Monitor,  I have to admit when I first saw this product I was a little hesitant because of the price but luckily my awesome in-laws got it for us as a gift for baby O and it could not be more perfect present for a new mommy! With C I worried a ton and was up at all hours of the night constantly making sure she was breathing. I literally did not relax every time we went to bed and I believe I barely slept for her whole first year of life, not to mention the fact that she struggled with sleep but that's another story. The owlet has been such a lifesaver as far as my sleep is concerned. The smart sock works just like the monitors in the hospital using pulse oximetry. It shows you via an app on your phone that she is breathing on her own, and what her heart rate is which allows me to know she is safe and happy in her bassinet. The best part of this is truly the app once we finally get up enough nerve to leave both girls with the sitter for a date night we can check on O from anywhere, for now we use it while we watch a movie in the living room and she sleeps in our bedroom. Ha! The piece of mind alone with her this wonderful little device has given us is worth the cost in my opinion. I highly recommend it, if you buy anything for your first, second, third, or eighth child it HAS to be this. It really has been such a blessing to get a good nights sleep and know that the owlet will go off if God for bid there's a problem. It took us a little while to get the hang of it and make sure we had everything positioned just right so we weren't getting false alarms, but once we figured it all out it's been a breeze. Putting it on every night and knowing that if I want to check on her all I do is look at the base station on my nightstand and see the green light glowing and I know she's OK.

Skip Hop Chelsea Downtown Chic Backpack, I love this diaper bag. I use it daily, I love using a backpack especially while chasing a toddler and needing both hands and to be honest you can't beat the price. It has tons of storage in it as well as pockets galore. Which is great being that it may be only of the only organized things I own currently.

ErgoBaby Adapt 3 Position Child Carrier This carrier is fantastic you no longer need the infant insert if you have this one! Which is amazing since the last thing you need is anther thing to tote around with you. It works for babies as little as 7 lbs, so you can start using it immediately. I love baby wearing my littles so this is a must for every new mama, not to mention that ergo is always my go to since its the most comfortable for babies hips.

I really enjoyed looking around Baby Cubbys site. I love how they carry most of my favorite brands and searching for items on there was super easy. They have a great selection of items including some stuff for mom as well. It's always great finding a one stop shop especially when it comes to everything kiddo related. For moms local the store even offers drive up ordering, how cool is that!  Happy Shopping!

Stitch Fix Review #5

This has easily been one of my favorite boxes yet. I made mention after my last box to Stitch Fix that I wanted to see more fall pieces but since it's been so hot here I needed fall pieces that were light weight. They totally got the memo and sent me some things I just love.

THML | Tavia Pullover Sweater | Medium | $68.00

This top is so cute, I love the mix of stripes and the navy and olive together. I need up sending it back though because it was itchy. It has wool in it and for me that's kind of a no go, I have a hard time with harsh fabrics but I loved the look of the top a lot.

Market & Spruce | Sawyer Space Dye Dolman Sleeve Knit Top | Medium | $58

This I kept, you all know I am a sucker for a good dolman top and market and spruce apparently. This is such a light weight sweater, perfect for the upcoming southern California "winter".

Fate | Adair Jacket | Medium | $68

This jacket was the only thing in the box I wasn't a huge fan of. It was too big and felt very boxy on, plus the length on me wasn't my favorite I would have preferred it shorter, so it went back.

Kut From Kloth | Kate Distressed Boyfriend Jean | 6 | $88

Last month as you saw here, I kept the Kut Kloth jeans they were the only thing from last months box I liked. Well I went to put them on last week and they ripped in the zipper/crouch area. I wrote Stitch Fix about it since I hadn't even owned them a month yet and I wash in cold water and hang to dry. They are letting me return them with the returns from this month and offered a replacement or refund. I decided to get a refund, because I like the above jeans better so win win for me I suppose.

Street Level | Horon Reversible Magnetic Closure Tote | $48
This bag is SO cute and so versatile. I love it and when I saw it I knew I was keeping it. Super pumped to add this one to my bag collection.

All and all I really enjoyed this fix.
XOXO

Clean Bambino Review and Special Offer

Now It's officially fall! With that being said it's back to school, making lunches, cleaning up after summer, all with a pumpkin spice latte in hand. Am I right? Just in time to get ready for the holidays that are right around the corner.
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Clean Bambino to take a look at their service and maybe try it out. I was so excited to when I found out it was a mobile detailing service for strollers and car seats. Since we had C, basically I have been overly paranoid about our stroller and car seat being clean. You spend so much money on this things and they so easily get trashed. I've been saying do while now there should be a service that should clean them for you, because who wants to spend the better part of a Saturday deep cleaning kids stuff.

Now with a toddler in tow who basically needs a snack if I want to run any errands, we've had cheddar bunnies, fruit snacks, tougher bites all sorts of things buried into our stroller. So when clean bambino contacted me, I immediately said to my husband "babe there's a mobile detailing service for our stroller and car seat, we HAVE to try it!" I contacted Michael right away and set up a appointment. He was so friendly and responded right away, he even accommodated my schedule when I couldn't make my original appointment.
When he came he had everything he needed to get our orbit baby stroller and car seat spotless. He even used honest company products and steam to get it all clean. I loved how thorough he was and his attention to detail was spectacular.
Here are our before and after photos.
You see how the fabric is so dusty looking? I know wheels are going to get dirty, I mean they touch the floor but these are gross, then you put these ditty wheels back into the car!

Same here, I wash this fabric take the car seat apart and vacuum, but there is still snack residue.

Heres the stroller now, its so shiny. It's look brand new! He steamed cleaned all the fabric and polished the frame, I love love love how it turned out.

Now this is spectacular, he got to every nook and cranny. This hasn't looked so clean in a while. It sparkles.

He did all the prams and accessories too!
Michel has offered a special for my readers. He's willing to do the basic cleaning for $30 and the detail for $60. Just mention Bumps Babes and Bellini's when booking!
Side note, he also does car seat education and can check if you have your seat installed properly.

This is totally something I'd love to do again in the future. I mean you clean your kids crib sheets and changing pads, why not the same for their car seats and strollers. I for one love clean stuff and making it easy, where mom doesn't have to do it, well that's just an added bonus.
XOXO

Toddler Fall Fun

Despite it being back in the low 90's over here we have been up to a ton of fall themed activities. C has been having a blast! Friday we went back to Tanaka farms and did the free wagon ride, she loved it! Then we headed over to the corn maze which despite the heat was quite fun. After that we took few photos with the pumpkins and called it a day. This mama forgot how dirty it is over there "hello it's a farm" and needed a foot bath the second we got home.
Then Monday we took her apple pear picking, apparently the u-pick apples are only on the weekends. Silly me I didn't realize that when I looked at the site. Regardless she had so much fun and we loved watching her. The wether was perfect mid 50's so we were soaking up every minute of this fall activity we could. C really loved helping daddy pick the pears and would yell "PULL" when she grabbed the stick to pick one. She would then place all the pears in the bag one by one and if any fell out she would go "oh oh" and "count them back into the bag.
Pick pears with daddy!
Dress old | Shoes old similar here | Bow
She was waving at dad, love that they have pumpkins on the vine here.
The fall weather was so nice it felt like home.
Our little model.
Then yesterday we mad sour way over to the Irvine Park railroad with some friends and went on the Choo Choo, took tons of photos and C had her first experience in a bounce house. I have to admit I am not a huge fan of bounce houses, the germaphobe in me doesn't love the idea and my  claustrophobia doesn't help either. But she's her one person so she went in and loved it while I was armed with antibacterial for when she got out. She kept yelling at me "mamma look I jump I jump" or "I bounce mama" It was so sweet and I know she had a blast.
On the choo choo.
We have been loving this little taste of fall wether and hope it comes around again soon.
XOXO

Stitch Fix Review #3

Got my third box this week and they nailed it! Even though I only kept two pieces I was pretty pumped with this box and it totally got me in the mood for fall, now if only the weather out here would cooperate.

41Hawthorn | Queensland Dolman Jersey Top | Medium | $48
This dolman top was one of my favorites, I wore it immediately as you can see by the wrinkles. Haha I washed it and forgot it in the dryer. I love how comfortable it is, and the color was not my first choice but I thought it looked good on me.

Market & Spruce | Corinna Striped Dolman Top | Medium |$48
This top is super fall and super comfortable. You all know I am a sucker for stripes. This top fit great and is a fabulous fall transition top.

Kut From The Kloth | Siena Cropped Pant | 6 | $58
Fun3Fun | Julianna Back Cutout Top | Medium | $38
I loved these black pants and I was surprised by how much. They are more trouser style, which I usually don't love. I loved the length but the fit was a tad bit off. They were a bit snug in the hips which wasn't super flattering. This top I super loved and so badly wanted it to fit, it would have been perfect for our upcoming trip. Unfortunately it's way to short in the front. I don't like it when tops come up that short on me, it's very unflattering. So these went back.

Zad | Martin Mini Layered Metal Cuff | $28
This bracelet is cute just not my taste. I'm a little picky when it comes to jewelry. So this was also a no go.

All and all I love this box. I wish that green top was a little longer and I would have kept all the clothes, and it was fun to get a accessory this time. Till next time!

XOXO

Gold Fall Decor

I am absolutely smitten with this time of year! It is truly one of my absolute favorites. But you see we currently live at the surface of the sun, so that crisp fall air, sweater loving, pumpkin spice weather I'm obsessed with I won't be seeing that till November. Until then I choose to deck my house out in all things fall and pumpkin smelling goodness so I can get my fix.

This year I decided to take some of my old fall decor items and have a little spray paint party. I was inspired but a project Steve and I did the other day with our dresser and my necklace stand.
 Dresser
Necklace Stand We used the Dremel to take off the arrows and spray painted it gold | Mirrored Tray | Bracelet Holder from Target similar here | Ring Holder from Target similar here| Tory Perfume | Burberry Perfume
Super cute right? Everyone needs a little gold in their life.

With gold spray paint in hand I decided to take this....
I had the bowl full with pumpkin vase filler that bought at home goods years ago similar here
I decided to half the amount of pumpkins for the gold incase I hated it. So I only planned to use this many.

To this!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out super easy too. I decided to mix in some white ones as well. What a fun change! I am so happy I did this! Makes for a different modern look! I also need to clean that bowl..bad.
I liked it so much I spray painted the leaves for this vase as well. So cute.

Enjoy the fall weather if you have it and if you can send some my way, I'll love you forever.

XOXO

Loving Lately

I was going though my beauty routine the past few days and thinking to myself wow, some of these products are really great you should share them. So, I figured why not do a loving lately post. So here we go four essentials I can't live without these days.
If you follow me on instagram (@bumpsbabesandbellinis) you probably have already guessed I am a HUGE Dry Bar fan. I have gotten blow outs from many different places, around the country and not one has ever been as good as the blow outs I received at Dry Bar. So naturally I started using their products. This one is one of my favorites. First lets talk about how all of their products have the best names! How cute is that! Hot Toddy as it says on the bottle is a hair protector from heat and frizz control. My hair gets so frizzy, its not fun. I only wash every other day sometimes every 3 days and this stuff makes it super smooth and almost frizz free. You can usually tell if I forget to use it. It's lotion for your hair, I so recommend this.

I have been using Aveeno lotion since I was a kid. I suffer from eczema and this was some of the only over the counter lotion my pediatrician told my mom I could use. Since then I have tried many other lotions and I have to say I always go back to Aveeno. I like a light weight lotion for everyday use, but it still has to be moisturizing enough to last thoughtout the day and this sheer hydration totally does this trick!

Back to Dry Bar again, haha. I never used dry shampoo before recently. I had a lot of trouble finding one I liked. Then at my last blow out, I asked about the Detox, dry shampoo. I decided to grab a bottle and give it try. Well boy am I glad I did. This dry shampoo is fantastic. It doesn't leave my hair feeling heavy or dirty, it feels fresh and clean. I usually use it if I'm rocking some three day hair and don't have time to tame my mane. So happy I picked this up, it's my new go to hair product.

Last but not least Color Wow, my mom actually turned me on to this product. Here's the thing guys, ok deep breath.... I am going gray. There I said it now everyone knows, haha. I have actually had gray hair since I was 16, and I fought dying it for the LONGEST time. Well about 5 months ago I decided it was time, my hair is now growing in gray in the front and I had to do something about it. I was headed to a wedding in May and was due to get my roots done, but didn't have the time before we left. I knew my mom would have a solution, that she did and I discovered Color Wow. I love this stuff, it covers up the grays until I have time to get my hair colored and it works so well, plus the it's small enough to fit in my purse.

Well there you have it a few of my favorite things! Have anything you can't live without? Leave it in the comments below, I love trying new products.
XOXO

Stitch Fix Review #2

So I got my second box in the mail last week, and I have to say it was way more me then my first. The styles that were picked out this time around were so much more my style, I ended up keeping two of the tops from this box and I have already worn them both twice! So here you have my poorly lit iPhone photos :-)

I love love love this top! It was by far my favorite in the whole box.
The fit was perfect and the style was very me

A view of the back
Market & Spruce | Xander Short Sleeve Woven Back Sweatshirt - Medium | $54.00
I decided to keep this one, it's crazy comfortable and a wonderful summer to fall top.

RD Style | Carlotta Mixed Material Knit Top - Medium | $58.00
I am a huge fan of this top. It fit perfectly and was also very comfortable I felt like I could dress this up or down as well depending on the outing.

Heres a view of the back, I kept this top as well.

Mavi | Sonja Boyfriend Jeans- 6 | $88
I liked these Jeans but the fell a little to low for me. I prefer a higher rise with my denim. They were also very comfortable and stretchy, but I wish they fit my hips and thighs a bit better.
Loveappella | Saxby Scoop Neck Top - Medium | $54
I liked this top and felt like it fit nice, but it was a tad itchy for me. The material didn't feel very nice on my skin. I also felt for the top itself it was too pricey.

Market & Spruce | Elmira Jacket -Medium | $68
This jacket was different and fun, just not my taste. It made me feel too boxy. I prefer my jackets to be a bit more fitted.

All and all I loved this box, at least way better then the first one. I'm looking forward to my next fix!

Target Toddler Style

So I was in Target the other day or what I more commonly refer to as my second home, and I found some of the MOST adorable fall clothes for the peanut. Since I have discovered many adorable items from other blogs I decided to share my finds.  All of these clothes are from the Genuine Kids line from OshKosh only available at Target.

Do they make this in my size? I see a mamma and mini photo session in our future.

Cable knit leggings

"Fur" vest (in pink) I couldn't find the gray one online. Is it just me or will she look like the cutest little fashionista in this.

I had a skirt like this when I was little so naturally I jumped at the chance to get the peanut one. So precious right? Couldn't find it online.

Since it doesn't get too chilly here in the "fall" I like dressing the peanut in sweaters when we go out, and this one was just too sweet to pass up. Couldn't find it online.
Happy Shopping!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Ok I know it's not the holiday season, but it might as well be. It's Nordstrom's Anniversary sale, so that's cause to sing christmas songs in July right? I went on monday and took a look around I only got a few things I had been eyeing. Heres What I got along with things I love!

This Kate Spade Necklace is adorable and I already have the earring to match. I've been on the hunt for a long necklace to pair with my shorter ones or wear alone and this totally fit the bill. I'm in love!
This gorjana ring is so different and fun! I wanted another ring I can wear on my right hand in yellow gold. I loved this simple and trendy design. I did go up a size, since with this design it fit a little snug, but I was able to bend it a bit to fit around my finger.
These Tory sandals are a Nordstrom exclusive. I love them! I wasn't able to get them online but when I went to the store they said they had them in my size so I ordered them. Hopefully it wasn't a fluke and I actually get these beauties in the mail in a few days.

A few things I also loved were
This adorable tory hobo, the pink is a great color for both summer and fall in my opinion and its a fantastic size. I will be keeping this in the back of my mind for the future.
I adore this pleione top in burgundy for fall. As you know I challenged myself not to buy any clothes for 6 months that don't come with my stitch fix. But I may break my challenge for this one.
Lastly the amazing pagie denim jeans. I am obsessed with paige denim and have been for a long time. These book cut jeans are awesome, but they didn't have my size :-( I think it was a sign I need to stick to my challenge and not buy any clothes.
Happy Shopping
XOXO
